Weiss Technik has expanded the second generation of ClimeEvent climatic test chambers with three new formats. Thanks to the additional depth in the test space, customers can test larger or several components at the same time, or even complete systems. The new test chamber sizes are equipped with a patented absolute humidity control, a visual status display, a larger water bath as well as LED lamps on the inside which provide up to 70 percent more brightness.
Three new formats and innovative features
In addition to the test chambers of the new ClimeEvent series from Weiss Technik already available in the sizes 180, 340 and 600 litres, the larger variants provide a volume of 1,000, 1,500 and 2,000 litres, achieved by extending the depth. This allows both larger-volume test specimens to be tested as well as several components at the same time or even complete systems.
All three cabinet sizes are available with temperature change rates of 3 and 5 Kelvin per minute. A fixed feature of the new ClimeEvent series are the patented absolute humidity control and a larger water bath. They also have powerful LED lamps on the interior and an LED status strip on the outside on the test chamber door. There is also a window that can be blacked out available as an option – ideal for test centres which have to keep secrecy agreements.
Solution for comprehensive component tests
The new chamber formats are particularly interesting for production areas with high test requirements and increasingly large test specimens – such as the automotive industry including e-mobility or the electronics industry. The aerospace and pharmaceutical industry also use the test cabinets with even air flow and precise temperature control.
There are additional options available for all variants in the ClimeEvent series, and individual adaptation to customer wishes is possible.
